The Gates
On February 18, it was my pleasure to accompany a bunch of eigth-graders from my son's School Poly Prep through the Central Park to view "The Gates" -Christo and Jean-Claude's latest large-scale installation. The majority of the kids appeared to be remarkably unimpressed (unlike myself), but had a good time climbing over the Alice statue.
